n-Type naphthalimide-indole derivative for electronic applications

چکیده

Abstract The fabrication of diodes using organic semiconductors as active materials has gained wide interest, and undergone significant progress in the past few decades. A naphthalimide-indole derivative (BNIA) was synthesized through bromination acenaphthene, subsequent oxidation, finally imidation with indole-3-acetic anhydride. molecular structure characterized NMR IR spectroscopy. BNIA displayed good thermal stability up to 300 °C an electrochemical band gap 1.07 eV. theoretical studies were performed support experimental findings. electrical parameter values dielectric measurement directed towards suitability a functional material electronic devices. diode successfully constructed n -type ideality factor 8.13, parameters are analyzed.

A Pyridine-Containing Cu2+-Selective Probe Based on Naphthalimide Derivative

A new fluorescent probe P derived from naphthalimide bearing a pyridine group has been synthesized and characterized. The proposed probe P shows high selectivity and sensitivity to Cu2+ in aqueous media. Under optimized conditions, the linear response of P (2 μM) toward Cu2+ was 0.05-0.9 μM in ethanol-water solution (3:2, v:v, 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.4), and the detection limit was 0.03 μM.
